So DA has decided to allow users to add "Journal Skins" to their journal layouts. Said skins are really nothing more than CSS. They are also only for Paid members. Surely this doesn't mean that as a free user I can't simply just handcode my own CSS into my journal without having to pay to browse through and pick a premade sample? Wait...I can't? REALLY? SERIOUSLY? I can preview my hard work, but it won't post? LAME.

I can understand not letting the free users pick templates from a gallery to use, but at least let us code our own! It's not like all the free users are CSS junkies who are so incredibly talented they abuse the very idea of a paid membership CSS template! In fact, I'm sure a decent chunk of my watchers don't even know what the hell I'm babbling about right now...I don't post here enough anymore to warrant a paid membership, but the prospect of CSS gave me a glimmer of motivation. I've never coded a journal before this could be fun! NO. Not allowed. Well fuck...
